Shown here are the CR 1788 Oval Door Knobs on Schoolboard Backplate. These Schoolboard plates are a flat plate, with rounded corners and the knob mounted in the centre.
Both the oval door knob and “schoolboard” backplate, are a traditional Victorian design. By changing the finishes on these, they can suit either a traditional Victorian property or add vintage style to modern décor.
By altering the finish, these door knobs can suit virtually any décor, from a more rustic property with finishes such as these antique nickel ones, all the way through antique and aged brass and real bronze, to contemporary finishes, such as polished nickel and chrome.
The door knobs in the photo are shown in antique nickel and are also available in over twenty finishes and metals, including real, sand cast bronze.
